Hello folks,
Got some cool algae optics while on vacation up north they were stunning! I have always wanted to see diffraction patterns in algal film on water and got to see it. I saw Quételet rings, corona and glowy on the surface and take over a half dozen images. I some in my blog.
Topic is here:

Since I can't read German well I can't put image in post and don't know how to since forum was revised but like I said to see the photos go to link above.
Any help with image insertation is helpful
Regards,
Michael

Wow Michael!
You got 'em!
What a beautiful and raw sight. I've never seen Quételet rings in this way. I see them every day in my sink in a different way

:
But your pictures are very much better:
I guess you mean it in this way? To insert a picture, click on the toolbar - button with the tree icon, type in or paste the URL of the picture and click "Insert".
regards,
Reinhard

Hey Reinhard,
Thanks for the help and it worked!! Do you have facebook? You may want to add me so one day we can chat atoptics someday. The set of rings I got on the algal film is a first I always wanted to see that after I saw what Marko Rikkonen captured and got what I was looking for.
BTW: Your example on the sink drain plug is quite colorful lot of fringes.
Regards,
Michael
