About the last photo. First, I think there is no 46° sundogs but infralateral arcs which looks very much like parhelia here. And I should remind you that genius 46° sundogs have never been photographed and it is not clear do they exist in nature after all. 44° parhelia or sungods [
- Bertram] from multiple scattering (parhelia of parhelia) has been photographed several times. It seems that in this display there is almost no plates so we can rule out 44° parhelia too, since it is always with really bright parhelia.The lower portion of the 46°-circle seems to go down straight instead of forming a circle because it is not a 46° halo but subhorizon part of supralateral arc.
Yes, that arc going right from contact point of lower tangent arc has name and it has been observed earlier. It is Wegener arc or more precisely it is a lower part of Wegener arc from single oriented columns. It is colored when it is good. This lower part is more often observed in cases where Wegener arc is crossing anthelion point where it forms X-shape halo when sun is above 30°, but it has been photographed also in similar position than in these photos.
