Tertiärer Regenbogen - an Sprühregen über Kopf (Link!)

Hallo,

da es nach einer privaten Vorankündigung inzwischen netzöffentlich ist, erlaube ich mir nun die Weitergabe, daß Michael Großmann (sehr wahrscheinlich) am 4.10.2012 die dritte Bilddokumentation eines natürlichen tertiären Regenbogens gelungen ist, und zwar überraschenderweise anderswo als bisher (deshalb selbst im nachbearbeiteten Foto an der Wahrnehmungsgrenze), vgl.

Hey Elmar,

Was that visually seen? That would have been a good one to make a stack of if a number of pics would have been taken.

Hi Michael (E.),

I was not present at the sighting. According to Michael Gr.'s entry on his homepage (you can reach him through the contact info directly) there was not the slightest visual hint.

W.r. to stacking, it must be seen, that for once the spray of rain was short-lived, quite similar to the strongest of the shower on the occasion of his photographic breakthough on May 15th, 2011. And then, M.G. just stepped out of his workplace, so except of a few shots, there was no good chance for a stacking spree.

I find it remarkable, that the option for an almost blue sky sighting of a tertiary is now out of the box, be it in archived photos or future new ones.
