Diamond dust parhelia 030104 *PIC*

Hi.

Today we have very cold weather with diamond dust in the air.
I saw these parhelia and shot some photos with my digicam.

Two birds is seen in the left one.

Hi Mats,

Those look like nice parhelia in your pics. Last night I got a sparce pillar from snow around artificial light source. Those parhelia look like they are from highly tilted crystals because they are very tall and when they are like that a pillar may be present and I am sure that there was a circumzenith arc as well because it requires plates.

Right now there are no good halos just weak parhelia and other weak common halos.
