Nacreous clouds lit by the moon. *PIC*

Today I had a Fuji Velvia 100 film developed, which has been in the camera very long time. I had shot some photos on the nacreous clouds display 2002-12-20.

This image is very nice I think.

beautiful Nacerous clouds you have the moon looks like its making a corona in them. I myself have not seen any thing for a while except a breath blown glory which photographed.

Please send the next MOP-clouds to Germany, the mostly observer (like I too) have not ever seen this ...

I have never seen such clouds before. I did know they existed because I got a metrology education when I did my military service 30 years ago. I have kept my eyes open since then and wondered when I should have the priveledge to see them. I think it's a very rare phenomenon.
