Sprites in Großbritannien visuell beobachtet...

Subject: upside down lightning?

Hi all, just spent the past couple of hours hoping to spot some aurora.nothing to report so far but I have been watching a distant thunderhead cloud illuminated by lightning .One flash was instantly followed by what looked like Aurora!It seemed to burst from the cloud top UPWARDS? the colours looked like blue as it went up changing quickly to a red colour.The whole event was very quick. a couple of seconds. Have I spent too long staring into the sky?? any thoughts.

Gab es gestern passende Gewitter, die man von Großbritannien aus beobachten konnte?

Hallo,

Diese Sichtung scheint zu bestätigen, dass Sprites unter Umständen auch visuell sichtbar sein können. Dies wurde nämlich kürzlich noch angezweifelt.
