...es gab zwar schon 2 Fehlalarme, bzgl. möglicher schwacher Schockfronten, aber bisher war noch keine echte Front dabei.

Impact will probably occur sometime after 14:00 UTC on 19 September. Sorry I haven't had time to update the CME page. Still haven't
figured out how to automate that procedure yet. We DON'T expect anything very significant from the C8 event. In fact, it's possible that
CME may simply merge into the high velocity stream we are seeing now without producing any shock-like features. Although there is a
fair chance high latitude enhancements of auroral activity will occur, I have strong doubts if activity will become enhanced enough to
become visible across widespread middle latitude regions.

PS: The shock notice that was sent out by our SMS system to those of you receiving the alerts on your cell phones, etc., was a
false-alarm. A shock was NOT observed.
