Aurora Update:
Auroral activity has the potential to intensify mildly over the next 48
hours in response to coronal mass ejection activity observed over the last
few days. Observers are encouraged to stay alert for possible changes in
conditions.
Solar Update:
The active region responsible for producing the large coronal mass ejection,
long x-ray enhancement and large loop arcade on the northeast limb on 14
October may begin enhancing limb activity over the next 24 to 72 hours as it
nears and crosses the northeastern solar limb. M-class flares are now
considered possible from this active region.
