Aurora / Geomagnetic Activity Update:
A mild interplanetary disturbance is currently influencing geomagnetic and
auroral activity very slightly. No significant sightings of auroral activity
are expected to accompany this disturbance.
Solar Update:
M-class solar flares are possible from the conglomeration of spot groups
visible on the eastern hemisphere of the Sun. The most impressive region
appears to be Region 226, which has experienced rapid growth over the last
24 hours. Mixed polarities are present in several other regions.
