MAJOR FLARE ALERT:
Region 365 spawned a major class M9.3/2B solar flare at 02:24 UTC on 31 May. This is a confirmed proton flare. High energy protons at greater than 100 MeV are arriving at the present time. Polar cap absorption is expected within the next few hours. SOHO has observed a coronal mass ejection, but insufficient imagery is vailable at the present time to determine if there is an Earthward-directed component.

PoS über 1500km/s
CME Anfangs-Speed liegt nach meinen Berechnungen deutlich über 1500km/s. Leider ist auf den LASCO-Aufnahmen bisher nichts halomäßiges zu erkennen.
