Hi all !
I've added a new page to my website with two aurora pics taken from the mainland of the Netherlands.
As you can see, the light pollution is pretty bad here compared to the island of Terschelling.
The pics were taken 29/30 May 2003 (with the mill) and 6 November 2001
Greetings, Jan Lameer

Very nice picture!
Hi Jan !
a very nice picture, and very typical for all our sterotypes about the Netherlands, too! Perhaps you can sell to to the VVV, the tourist agancy!
But I like it, really!

Re: Very nice picture!
Hi Wolfgang !
It was indeed meant as a stereotype picture; I wanted a photograph in which you can see immediately that aurora can be seen from the Netherlands.
I must say though that photographing on the mainland is a little frustrating with all that light pollution. I'm just spoiled on Terschelling with its dark skies.
Were trying to go to Kiruna this winter, that might be nice though...
(bu the way: great comet picture on your site ! )
