2 lux video camera

Hi !

I am thinking of buying a good video camera and of course I am hoping it can record aurora in real time.
It supposedly can record scenes with only 2 lux at 1,8 diafragm (in 3 chip color) but I really don't know how to translate this 2 lux to photographic I.E. settings.

Any thoughts someone ?

By the way, we have true dark skies again in the Netherlands, and the geese are making test flights all ready in formation; my tomatoes are getting big but they still are green and in a few months I will announce "Expedition G" : the ultimate personal astronomy photography project that I've been dreaming of for years ...
