Re: Bild vom NOSS Triplett in der STD Galerie
Seen them twice, took me half a year to figure out what it was.
They were first identified by amateurs at a New York State star during Perseid Time end of nineteen nitey's.
It supposedly is three groups of three triangled satellites each that monitor radio traffic from ocean going vessels and locate their position in seconds. They were supposed to be invisible by the naked eye, because a group of three satellites moving together attracts attention.
I think they are "cute"; Perseid time is also "moving Spacejunk time" and these are the best sofar.
Next to come: Taurid meteors from so many radiants, slow and colorfull, my all time favorites.
Greetings, Jan Lameer
