SYNOPSIS...

An Earth-directed coronal mass ejection on 09 October is expected to
impact the Earth and elevate levels of auroral activity late in the UTC day
of 11 October or early on 12 October (for North American observers, this
coincides to the late-afternoon and evening hours of 11 October). Although
this disturbance is not expected to be particularly strong or effective at
producing auroral storming, there is a fair chance periods of auroral
activity may become strong enough to become visible over fairly widespread
middle latitude regions.

This watch will remain in effect until 19:00 UTC (3 pm EDT) on 13
October. It will then be updated or allowed to expire.
