Off Topic: Stativ/Manfrotto

Moin,

nachdem es mir in der vergangenen Nacht meine Nikon F3 nebst Zoom
vom Stativ geschmissen hat (Zoom hat jetzt 'ne Macke, verd... Kacke)
bin ich auf der Suche nach einem neuen Kopf für mein Manfrotto-Stativ.
Kennt hier jemand 'ne günstige Quelle im Web für Neuware?
Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass einige hier auch mit einem Manfrotto
in der Gegend rumlaufen.

probiere es mal bei Ebay da stehen 1-2 Anbieter mit Neuware drin. Rubrik Foto, Unterrubrik Stative.

Hi Dieter,

jep, da bin ich derzeit am bieten ).

Aber wie stets bin ich natürlich auf der Suche, um noch billiger an
das Zeug ranzukommen.

Why don't you try and buy a secondhand professional head.
In that way you get a more heavy and better head. For 100 DM you might get a very decent one.
I also have a Nikon F3, have you ever tried a 6 x magnifying viewfinder on it? Not only the image is much brighter, which is great for night photography, you also view from above the camera which is great for pics near the zenit.

I need to get a new one due to reduce personal taxes ...

Yep, the overhead viewfinder is THE thing to use not only during
night time but to get real snaphots. Run that pretty one for years
now. My good old F3 is the HP version (highpoint), you aint find
nothing better. Even that the body looks like an old Chevy Taxi in
Havanna/Cuba ))).

Sad that I almost cracked my Nikor 70-200 last night. Nothing happened
to the opticals but zoom aint working no more, thats a pitty. My local
Photo-Shop will be in business tomorrow with me...geee...what a
damned fool I am...sic!
