die Ladezeiten sind heute freundlich, nach C2 und C3 dürfte die Anfangsgeschwindigkeit etwas über 1000 km/s gelegen haben.

Der Halo reicht ca. von Süd über West und Nord bis NE, sieht nach Streifschuss für uns aus. 3-4 Tage früher wäre nett gewesen, statt jetzt aus W54.
Eine kleine Wette könnte man aber glaube ich riskieren, damit wir nicht aus der Übung kommen.

EIT and LASCO observed a partial HALO CME event on 2001/12/26. The event
was first seen in C2 beginning 05:30 UT on December 26, 2001 as a bright,
190 degree wide loop front with cavity and core over the West hemisphere.
A fast event covering PA 164-25 degrees total with a velocity through C2
field at 1435 km/sec. Event traveled through the C3 field and tracked to
30 Rs till 10:30 UT. Deceleration though C3 averaged the plane-of-sky
speeds to 1069 km/sec at PA 299. Large proton emission seen in Lasco C2,
C3 due to this event in white light images.

EIT sees a bright flare in the NorthWest near the limb of AR 9742 at
location [N 08; W 54]. This event appears at 04:36-0726 as a long
duration brightning. High energy partical emission seen in EUV images.
A large post arcade of loopings follows till 12:00 UT. GOES reports a
M7.14 class x-ray event from AR 9742 at the same timings as event in EIT.
This is probably related to the events seen in EIT and LASCO.
