An Weihnachten hatte ich ja schonmal darauf aufmerksam gemacht.

Our SMS server provides user-customizable real-time alerts and warnings. For example, using the software (STD Aurora Monitor or the
FREE SMS interface software at the above-noted URL), you can set up your own personalized subscription to (for example) send you
an alert to your SMS capable cell phone or pager (or even just your plain old internet e-mail address) whenever a major solar flare is
observed, or if x-rays exceed a specific threshold that you set, or if an interplanetary shock is detected passing the ACE spacecraft, or if
solar wind velocities increase beyond a specific level (that you set), or if the southward component (Bz) of the interplanetary magnetic
field (which controls how well the magnetosphere might respond to producing auroral activity) swings beyond a specific value (again,
that you set), etc. There are a LOT of things that can be set to be relayed to you. Our server collects data in real-time (once every
minute) and can report the information to you whenever you want. You can even set up the service to only broadcast information to
you during specific hours of the day. And if you are in the field (with your cell phone or pager) and need to turn off the data flow to your
device, you can send an e-mail to our SMS server via your cell phone or pager and it will mute all output to your device until you resend
another e-mail to toggle the service back on.
