For those of you who don't know him already, he is a US professional newspaper sports photographer and also a very good astrophotographer. Best of all, he has a splendid website with good tips and many humorous tales about stupid things he did while trying to find good dark spots in places where normal people wouldn't go at times when they are supposed to sleep.
