magnetic versus geomagnetic pole

Hm, I am doing some research on the loneliest place on earth and I found this information that says there is a difference between the magnetic and geomagnetic north pole.
I don't really understand what the geomagnetic ploe is and why it is located in Greenland while the magnetic north pole is located in northern Canada.
