Conditions are gradually improving in advance of the anticipated coronal
hole based disturbance. The IMF is swinging southward and solar wind
densities are increasing. The auroral oval has responded with some
equatorward motion and mild brightnening. We expect substorming to increase
over the next several hours. Middle latitude observations may become
increasingly possible as time passes and the disturbance intensifies.
