The shock front associated with the second coronal mass ejection was
observed passing the ACE spacecraft at 08:03 UTC on 19 April.

Minor to major auroral storming is currently in progress across much of the high and upper-middle latitude regions. Widespread middle latitude sightings of auroral activity will be possible over the next 12 to 18 hours.
