Today we had a very nice ice needle halo. I have made a panorama of two pictures made with my Olympus digital camera,

Yes that is a very nice diamond dust halo there. Parhelia and sunpillars are the most common type of diamond dust halos. The most spectacular can be seen in antarctica. At my house in the U.S. not too long ago I saw some colorful halos in the cirrus clouds.
