Circumhorizon arc - 31.5.2015 Prague

Hello all, greeting from Prague ;]

Yesterday nice fragment of circumhorizon arc appeared in Prague. 22 halo, circumscribed halo and part of parhelic circle was also visible. Time 13:12-13:30 CET, so Sun has around 61.7 degree of elevation.

beautiful, especially the complete spectrum of pastel colors. This is about the best a CHA can get for this solar elevation angle.

Not too long ago in the USA we had very nice high-sun halo and there was a complete CHA, 22d halo, circumscribed halo, infralateral arc, weak upper parry and a complete PHC
