A minor interplanetary shock was observed passing the ACE spacecraft near
13:55 UTC. It has been associated with intensifying solar wind magnetic
fields and may become capable of producing a minor enhancement of auroral
activity over the next several hours. The duration of the enhanced activity
may approach 24 to 36 hours. No significant auroral storming is currently
anticipated.
