Got another pyramidal display this Saturday. Its Amazing I got one last weekend then I get another one this weekend

Hi Michael,

congratulations! You're the true champion of pyramidals, I guess. Typically, they are seen over larger areas, so I wonder why nothing of this seems to be in Spaceweather.

I don't know about being a champion of pyramidal halos but I usually get a handful of them a year. Back in 2009 I got tons of pyramidal halos including 35d halo 2 different times,4 elliptical halo observations, 3 observations of Wegener arcs, and my first Tricker arc as well. 2009 was my record halo year for rare halo forms. Last year 2013 the best I got was elliptical halo on my birthday and a high-sun display with CHA. I hope for more good photo-worthy halos but sadly no photo-worthy rainbows whatsoever.

Thanks for your comment I love odd radius halos because seeing multiple rings at once its different to see multiple rings versus the single by itself common 22d halo
